Simple Mediterranean Decor
I combined DIY decor with faux lemons and greenery, fresh flowers, thrifted pots and some great Amazon finds. My friend is an expert balloonist and gave me an idea to attach green paper leaves to yellow balloons to transform my balloon arch into lemons! I also downloaded Mediterranean art for my photo frames and Samsung Art TV.

Mediterranean Dinner Menu Ideas
My biggest tips for food are to cook dishes that can be prepared ahead of time. Both the greek chicken and the Mediterranean Chopped Salad can be prepared the night before. Serve with store bought pita to make your life a little easier!
Greek Chicken
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 lemon zested and juiced
- 4 cloves garlic grated or minced
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Just marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours and grill!
Mediterranean Chopped Salad
Chop the following veggies and toss in your homemade salad dressing!
- 1 c. cherry tomatoes
- 1 c. cucumbers (mini, baby, Persian or Lebanese)
- 1/2 c roasted peppers
- ½ red onion
- ½ cup mixed olives (kalamata or green)
- ½ cup parsley leaves, firmly packed
- 1/2 c feta cheese, crumbled
Salad Dressing
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 clove garlic (small clove or ½ a large clove)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
