This salsa is my go to recipe for taco night or Cinco de Mayo festivities. One batch yields about 4 cups, so this salsa recipe is fantastic for hosting!

Adjust the Spice in this Salsa Recipe
My family isn’t crazy about spice, so we only put 1/2 of a jalapeño sans seeds. If you’re unsure, I’d start with 1/2 of a jalapeño, then add the second 1/2 and blend. Taste test. And add small bits of jalapeño until you get it just right.
Involve the Kids & Practice Knife Skills
I love teaching my kids to cook. My mom got him this child safe knife set and he’s been interested in cooking ever since! I had my child practice chopping vegetables to make the salsa easier to blend. We also practiced measuring with the spices. He loves this recipe as much as we do! Fun tip: the spices in this recipe can also be used as taco seasoning!
