Paper Plate Firework Wands Craft for 4th of July Parades
There are so many great uses for paper plates! We love making these fireworks wands to bring to all of our patriotic parades and events. My kids are still young, so I hot glued the popsicle stick to the paper plate first before my kids decorated.
Supplies:
- Paper plates (buy in bulk for all your crafting needs!)
- Wide/Jumbo Popsicle sticks
- Red and blue paper (cardstock works best)
- Hot glue
- School glue
- Patriotic ribbon

Red, White and Blue Broccoli Fireworks Painting
We love to play with food!! This activity is easy and fun for little hands! Just dip the broccoli and paint to create your 4th of July Fireworks. Broccoli would make a fantastic texture for painting coral as well!
Supplies:
- Red, white and blue paint (This set is cheap and will last you a long time!)
- Black paper
- Fresh raw broccoli

Make Your Own American Flag for 4th of July
Cutting and gluing is an important activity to help children develop fine motor skills. Plus, using a glue stick is my toddler’s top favorite activity! Download my free American Flag template. Either cut the stars and strips and glue onto the template, or use the template as a coloring sheet.

Happy 4th of July
Some of our most cherished core memories are on picnic blankets watching the 4th of July fireworks. My hope is that some of these activities will enrich your 4th of July festivities.
